BooksEvery month hundreds of new books are published on 100s of subjects. We can't get to read all of them, but we do try to evaluate those we think may be of interest. Also every month hundreds more come to the end of their print runs, go out of stock or more importantly out of date. Open Mind is therefore removing from its website almost all book titles which fall into one of the above categories, however even after having done this there will still be over 500 books listed. We are now listing new titles which are due for publication. February and March 2010 titles include second edition publications of the Teachers' & NQTs favourite 'Taking Care of Behaviour' a practical guide to help build your confidence and create realistic action plans for effective classroom behaviour management, Brilliant NLP and 5 Star Service. New titles include, Unlock the Hidden Job Market, Creative Disruption and Brilliant Retirement. We will continue to include and update series of titles, e.g. the Brilliant .... ones, the Management Pocketbooks, .....for Dummies and others. We will also be listing some of the more favourite titles from past years, which still remain best-sellers, e.g. 75 Ways to Liven Up Your Training, The Little Book of Thunks, Coaching for Performance and others. Among our popular publishers are Gower, Pearsons, John Wiley & Sons and Kogan Page all of whom publish new titles monthly. We also hold in stock a substantial library and there are substantial savings to be made when purchasing off our shelves. Workbooks from £5.00, paperbacks from £2.50 and hardbacks from £7.50. Please call and request a current list. We supply Educational Resources for Primary, Secondary and FE Schools and Colleges. Books from Crown House, Grantham and Accelerated Learning are among the more favoured publishers. Also NVQ Workbook publishers such as Pearson Education, Harcourt, Elsevier and the NEC. Titles which some of you may recognise include The Primary Learner's Toolkit, Rocket Up Your Class and Teaching Toward Solutions. New titles Be a Fantastic Teacher (aimed at NQTs) and Reclaim Sundays can also be purchased through Open Mind. We will also continue to supply Workbooks, again the favoured ones are still listed on our site, as are copies of discontinued ones which we have in stock at massively reduced prices, (please see our clearance list), but if the one you want is not listed please call us to check its' availability, price and leadtime. Open Mind will obtain any book title still in print should we be asked to do so.
