We all know someone like Sam, the main character in this film. They don't really see the point of interviews, so they make little or no effort. Their appearance and body language create an awful first impression, and if they do manage to string more than three words together they give out more negatives than a photo lab.
Having seen how negatives turned his interview into a series of dead ends, we then see how simple positives could have opened up avenues. The result - in two versions of each scene - the wrongs and rights of Sam's interview.
