Workshops and Training Events

Although our main focus is supplying learning resources, over the past 18 years, Open Mind has run hundreds of courses on customer care, selling skills, business planning, time management, recruitment and many other topics.

We are currently establishing regular free half day 'drop-in-centre'  dates for trainers and learning and development facilitators showcasing Open Mind's range of resources. Letting you meet the designers, publishers and producers of training resources, preview any dvd, try out  e-learning courses,  arrange rentals, obtain printed lists of topic/comptency based resources, whilst at the same time giving you the time and personal service we have become renowned for over the years.  All the 2010 dates will be posted on our website, so please look out for these in the New Year.

We continue to seek out innovative content and delivery methods and are pleased to offer clients training courses in conjunction with our selected partners.

Red Training,  we are pleased to be partnered with Red Training, who offer courses covering a wide and diverse range of management and personal development areas.  Red have a deserved reputation for the excellence of their content and also the engaging style of delivery.  Red have recently developed the innovative 360 Stress Management programmes for employees and managers.

Skill Boosters,  DVD's and e learning courses in the field of diversity are well known but they also offer innovative and involving workshops on topics such as the new Age legislation.

Mike Le Put at MLP Training has produced a range of audio CDs based on his highly successful training courses on sales, negotiation and presentation skills, and offers one- and two-day courses on these topics as well as problem solving, goal setting and time management.

Fenman have run training courses for both Trainers and Managers for some time.   Their  workshop leaders are not only experienced trainers, but also experts in their field, they have studied their subject and walked their talk. TJ: The publication for learning and development has always been committed to providing continuous  professional development for its readers, and these workshops enable them to do this in a different way from the journal itself. The workshops are designed to be fun, relevant and practical, enabling you to transfer your new skills to the workplace.
